Content of Specialization Course:

In Constructive Design Research (CDR), our team employed field design-research approaches that investigated: “What are the different ways in which time influences charitable or greedy behavior in product-service systems?”. Two connected vending machines were designed whereby someone could ‘donate’ their time to release a candy bar at the other machine. The machines sparked charitable and greedy behavior but more so it created social interactions beyond the product. I gained skills and experience on how to accentuate themes or interactions in designing an intervention, used as means of inquiry, to identify and understand their respective influence on the user and environment.
